Scaffold Towering and Code of Practice

The Scaffold Towering and Code of Practice course provides learners with fundamental knowledge of scaffolding safety. The course focuses on recognizing hazards, assessing risks, applying suitable control measures, following safe systems of work, responding to emergencies and supporting a positive safety culture. On completion of this course, learners should be able to: Understand fundamental principles of scaffolding safety; Identify common hazards and understand their potential consequences; Explain basic risk assessment and hierarchy of control principles; Apply safe working practices and suitable control measures; Explain basic emergency response principles; Understand PPE selection, safety reporting and basic safety-management practices. Learners completing the Scaffold Towering and Code of Practice course should demonstrate an understanding of fundamental scaffolding safety principles, common hazards, risk-control measures, safe working practices, emergency response, PPE and basic safety-management requirements.
